Greetly Launches Its 2nd Annual Computer Science Scholarship Program

Denver, Colo. – January 26, 2021 - Greetly, the first fully customizable visitor management solution in the world, is pleased to announce its second annual computer science scholarship program. The program offers $1,000 scholarships to eligible computer science students across the United States.

Greetly believes computer science and software development is the key to the future. “We designed this program to offer some help to students who strive to become part of the next generation of IT professionals to ensure the technology marketplace thrives for generations to come. We are hopeful these scholarships offer a little relief for students as the cost of higher education continues to rise,” said Dave Milliken, Founder of Greetly.

First launched in 2020, the scholarship program is open to all students currently enrolled in or planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university program within the United States. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above at their current or most recent educational institution at the time of the application process.

To qualify, students must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher, professional relationship, or a mentor, submit an unofficial school transcript, and also include a 500–1,000-word essay that discusses “What inspired me to study Computer Science.”

All applications are due by September 1, 2021. Students are asked to submit their application packets to: scholarship@greetly.com.

Each entry will be evaluated by Greetly’s extended team and scholarships will be awarded at the organization’s discretion. Greetly will announce its 2020 scholarship recipient by March 2021.
